This page outlines the Referral Process to the OPEN-ARMS clinical team.

You can refer yourself, or you can help someone else who is concerned about Unusual Experiences.

1) Aged 18-35, concerned about Unusual Experiences?

• If you are aged 14-17, please contact CAMHS Single Point of Access via their website: https://www.oxfordhealth.nhs.uk/camhs/contacts/oxon
• Find out more about Unusual Experiences

2) Email us

• Whether for yourself, or someone else please email us the reason for your concerns at open.arms.service@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk
• If you are helping someone else, include your details in the email.

3) Signposting or referral

• We will review your referral information
• If you meet the criteria for our service, you will be contacted for future information.
• If you don’t meet the criteria, you’ll be signposted to self-help resources and other sources of support.

4) Assessment

Once we receive your online referral form, we will invite you to meet one of our clinicians for a formal assessment.
